Create durable and versatile signage with Printed HIPS from The Print Room. High Impact Polystyrene is a hard plastic sheet with resistance to impact and tearing, making it a practical choice for signage, ID cards, name tags, dials, decals and point-of-sale applications.
Your artwork is printed directly onto the 1mm HIPS material in full colour using UV curable or latex inks, with a minimum print resolution of 540dpi. This produces clear, vibrant graphics suitable for a wide range of professional signage and display requirements.
The inks are waterproof and offer 5+ years of UV stability in direct sunlight, allowing Printed HIPS to be used for both indoor and outdoor applications. Its hard surface provides a robust alternative when you need something more durable than paper-based display materials.
HIPS can also be cut to bespoke shapes, providing flexibility for custom signs, branded graphics and specialist display applications. Printing is single-sided, making it particularly suitable for signs and graphics designed to be viewed from the front
